We were honored to present at the “Food for Thought” event on homelessness in Seattle, for the Center for Women and Democracy, Sept. 17 at the Women’s University Club.
The tremendous speakers were Lisa Gustaveson, Seattle University School of Theology & Ministry; Marty Hartmann, Mary’s Place; and Sola Plumacher, City of Seattle.
Catherine Hinrichsen from Seattle University’s Project on Family Homelessness moderated the panel, after each speaker spoke movingly about the causes of and solutions to homelessness in our region.
Here’s a link to our handout on 10 Things You Can Do to End Family Homelessness. Join us and advocate to make family homelessness rare, brief and one time.
Watch for the video to be aired on the Seattle Channel, possibly starting the week of Sept. 21.
