At last year’s “Ignite Project Homeless” with The Seattle Times Project Homeless, we heard nine moving, informative, myth-busting and entertaining personal stories about homelessness. Now we’re planning another event for Thursday night, June 6, 2019 at Seattle UniversityStories About Home — and we need your stories.

Storytellers will use the Ignite format of 5 minutes, 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide. You’ll learn how to do this with professional trainers. There will be two training sessions and a rehearsal before the big night.

Check out the stories from last year and think about yours. The deadline to submit your “pitch” — an audio description of your story — is Monday, April 22. Get all the details on the announcement page at the Seattle Times site.
